6 Thick White Bread Slices
4 Large Eggs
¼ Cup Full Fat Milk
¼ Cup Sugar – adjust to taste
1 teaspoon Almond Essence
2-3 tablespoon Oil
2-3 tablespoon Butter
1 Handful Flaked Almonds
8-10 tablespoon Maple Syrup

1. Remove crust from the bread slices
2. Cut into triangles
3. In a bowl add eggs, milk, almond essences, sugar and mix well
4. In a non stick frying pan add oil and butter and heat
5. Dip the slices in the mixture, making sure its fully coated
6. Add to the frying pan and cook on medium heat for around 1-2 minutes on each side till cooked thru
7. Remove to serving dish
8. Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with almonds
9. Serve immediately
